What is Nose Cosmetic Surgery (Rhinoplasty)?
Rhinoplasty surgery is more popularly known as "nose job" or "nose reshaping". It came from Latin: "Rhinos" meaning nose and from Greek: "Plastikos" meaning "forming". It very accurately describes - rhinoplasty (nose cosmetic surgery) is a medical procedure for reconstructive or cosmetic nose reshaping. is usually used as a name for nose cosmetic surgery.

Nose job is sculpting. It is an art in some way. It is meant to improve the appearance and proportions of nose to the whole face, though combined with other procedures it might increase the functionality of nose as well (it then would be proper call it as nose plastic surgery). Rhinoplasty is performed for both men and women. Competent plastic surgeons will not recommend or even allow girls under 15 and boys under 17 years old to take nose cosmetic surgery. It is because kids or teenagers haven't got fully mature noses, and growing process could ruin the whole nose job later (Age is not really important, maturity is). We recommend younger ones use nose makeup until plastic surgery is allowed.

There are two methods surgeons use. Open technique is simpler, because surgeon makes some incisions where one of them is visible from outside. Cartilage is being then reshaped and closed thus leaving a scar. Experienced surgeons use closed technique. In this case cartilage is being totally removed and after reshaping put back into place through incisions made inside nose.

Hi, I'm from Bangladesh. I've got a bit wide nose a bit afro type. I wanna make my nostrils smaller from the side, and the bridge between the eyes a bit reshaped. How much it cost, how long off I should take from my duty and can take flight without problem.

I have a big nose, and I'm pretty small. I get told all the time how pretty I am but i just don't see it my nose looks like a mountain! I hate it. I always cover my face when I turn side ways if someone is looking. And when I went to school I would lay my head on my head so my head would only face one way of the class room :( I'm 20 now about to turn 21 and have two kids. Hi, Im 15 and really want a nose job I dont know how to tell my parents. Everyone says I'm pretty, but then theres always those people who are like your nose is huge. Im not really afraid of admitting that, but it still kind of hurts. Ive been struggling with it for awhile and its only getting worse. I also what to know if after surgery you can move your nose the way you normally would. I just want a bridge reduction. Every time someone says something about my nose im like i don't have a big nose its just a higher bridge. I hate my bridge!!!

Iam 26 male , I have a broken nose it's been broken since I was 17 ish I cant breath thru my nose at all, it's frustrating and it's about time I sorted it nhs won't do it coz I need cosmetic surgery. Thing is iam not rich and I don't think I'll ever beabke to afford it. I've even contemplated doing it myself and in one case my mate tried to but failed ( not hard enough ) lol how would I solve this problem with out getting in debt , I'd there a cheep option???
